Rod Stafford, Lead Pastor:  rod@portlandmennonite.org

Rod has served as Lead Pastor at Portland Mennonite Church for twelve years. He went to Seminary not planning to be a Mennonite or a minster, but the Spirit works in its own way. He grew up in the central valley of California, went to Berkeley where he graduated with a degree in Political Science, and earned a Master of Divinity degree at Fuller Theological Seminary. He has served churches in Pasadena, California and Lawrence, Kansas. Rod and his wife Molly have two daughters, Julia and Laura, and live in NE Portland. Rod likes to ride bike, eat good food, hike in the mountains, and do the Sunday crossword with Molly.

Rachel Ringenberg Miller, Pastor of Community Life: rachel@portlandmennonite.org

Rachel has served as the Pastor of Community Life since 2007. She received an undergraduate degree from Goshen College in history and secondary education and earned her Masters of Divinity degree from Eastern Mennonite Seminary. Rachel grew up in the small town of Archbold Ohio. Her home congregation in Archbold is where Rachel's call to ministry was developed. She interned as college student and later served as the interim youth pastor and Christian education director. Rachel and her husband moved to Portland after Rachel received the call to Portland Mennonite Church. Rachel and Duane have two children Magdalena (preschooler) and Uriah (toddler). When she isn't at church or chasing small children, Rachel enjoys having coffee with friends, as well as hiking and snowshoeing.

Curt Weaver, Pastor of Children & Youth: curt@portlandmennonite.org

Curt grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Eastern Mennonite University before serving three years in Swaziland with Mennonite Central Committee. He received an MA in Christian Formation from Anabaptist Mennonite Theological Seminary before moving to Oregon in 2007. Curt lives in Oak Grove OR with his wife Karin and their two children, Jonathan and Chloe. He enjoys Saturday morning yard sales and a good cup of coffee.

Brett Tieszen, Congregational Administrator: office@portlandmennonite.org

Brett has been the administrator since 2011. He handles everything at the church that doesn't directly involve spirituality, including document printing, accounting, building scheduling, and all kinds of miscellany.
